LUSAKA :Chipolopolo coach Sven Vandenbroeck says he has very little data on Guinea Bissau but is working on a plan to collect the teams’ first three points in the 2019 AFCON Group K qualifiers.
Zambia will host joint Group K leaders Guinea Bissau at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka on October 10 before travelling to Bissau three days later for the final leg of their double-header .
“I have no info on Guniea Bissau, the only thing I know is that almost all their players play in Portugal, which is a good league especially that it is a tactical league. So I expect a tactical difficult game,” Vandenbroeck said.
Chipolopolo are bottom of Group K tied on 1 point with Namibia following a 1-1 with the latter on September 8 in Windhoek.
Guinea Bissau and Mozambique are joint leaders on 4points heading into match-day-three of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
Guinea Bissau and Zambia also meet for the second time in an AFCON qualifier after Chipolopolo drew 0-0 at home and lost 3-2 away en route to failing to qualify for the 2017 tournament .
“A coach is always under pressure to deliver in every game but I don’t feel the pressure but I know the team and I are under pressure. How are we going to approach the game? I have some ideas on my mind,” Vandenbroeck said.
